Take care of your jewels

Try to store your jewellery comfortably, preventing them to collide with hard and massive things. If possible, try to involve them in soft tissue, or keep them in a jewellery-box.

Do not sleep with your jewels, appart from avoiding accidents such as swelling of the fingers due to the use of rings while sleeping, the jewellery also needs to be treated with little care.

When you use a jewellery cleaning product, always read the label to see if it is appropriate for certain gemstones especially pearls or coral. These two are prone to damage from chemicals that cause a loss of their natural glow.

A safe way to clean your jewellery is with a soft brush and warm soapy water. You can use dishwasher detergent because it removes the dirt and does not damage stones.

If your jewellery contains stones or minerals, the daily exposure to creams, oils for the skin, hair sprays, household chemicals and other substances can cause some oxidation on the material and cause the loss of the natural glow of the stones, pearls or minerals.
